Bragg Companies has been involved in the wind power maintenance and renewable energy market since the early 1980s and see the value in its continued efforts. Starting in the desert of CA, the Bragg Companies began work on the San Gorgonio Pass Wind Farm installing some of the first windmills in the United States. Today the Bragg Companies; Bragg Crane Service, Bragg Crane & Rigging, and Bragg Heavy Transport are still heavily involved in the wind, solar and geo-thermal markets.

In 2010, all three Bragg Companies divisions, in partnership with General Electric, Vestas and Repower, were part of the nation’s largest ever super-load hauling and storage project by volume, hauling over 300 complete wind towers with zero incidents or lost time. Our team efforts in this project were recognized SC&RA, the Southern California Contractors Association and General Electric as one of the most successful and safe wind component distribution centers on the West coast. This project is one of the many reasons that the Bragg Companies are considered a preeminent wind turbine installation company in the United States.
